Shyft is a powerful mobile app that provides employees with the ability to swap shifts, communicate with their team members, and manage their schedules. It offers real-time adjustments to work schedules and seamless connectivity with colleagues.
Users can rely on Shyft to conveniently view and manage their work schedules through their mobile devices. They can access detailed shift information and receive push notification reminders before each shift.
If an employee is unable to attend work, they can easily post their shift on the Shift Marketplace and find coverage from another team member. Once the manager approves the shift swap, the employee is no longer responsible.
For those looking to earn extra income, Shyft provides the option to pick up additional shifts by browsing available work opportunities on the Shift Marketplace. Applying for a shift is as simple as tapping on it, and once approved, the employee can head into work.
Shyft also enables seamless communication between team members without the need to exchange phone numbers. Through the Community tab, users can send direct messages or post multimedia content on team channels.
In addition, employees can easily request time off by submitting their requests in their calendar. They can view accrual balances and wait for manager approval.
When voluntary time off opportunities arise, employees can apply to take the day off with just a few taps. Once approved, they can enjoy their well-deserved break.
The admin features of Shyft are equally impressive. Managers can effortlessly broadcast open shifts to their team by simply tapping a button. They can also review and approve or deny shift swap applications between team members.
With Shyft, managers have full visibility of the team roster and can easily manage employee schedules. They can view job positions, shift start/end times, add open shifts, and request voluntary time off directly from the roster card.
Furthermore, Shyft allows managers to post announcements with read receipts. They can send announcements to the team channel and track who has read them.
For those still using paper scheduling, Shyft offers a convenient solution. Users can take a photo of a printed schedule and share it with their team. Team members will be able to view the schedule in their shift calendar.
Lastly, Shyft provides a user and group management feature. Managers can view all location team members, approve or deny user requests, and create new groups for shift posting and communication channels.
